Montgomery County Democratic Party Endorses Kamala Harris

Montgomery County Democratic Party Chair Charles Uffelman announced today that the county party is officially supporting Vice President Kamala Harris for nomination to be President of the United States.

Members of the party at all levels in Montgomery County are feeling energized by this news.

“When President Biden stepped aside in a historic move that put our country first, Vice President Harris stated she wanted to earn the nomination. From my time working on her staff, I knew she would work tirelessly to unite Democrats behind the mission of defending democracy and defeating Donald Trump. We have seen grassroots activists across the country rally to her cause and now, with enough delegates committed to her, she is our presumptive nominee. Montgomery County Democrats are excited to elect her and flip our county blue on November 5th,” said Chair Charles Uffelman.
