In the early hours of May 4th 2025, there appeared to be a joint operation between the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) and ICE here in Middle Tennessee. According to activists and individuals who were being detained, between 80 – 100 people were arrested by ICE. This operation took place on Nolensville Road in Nashville, TN, an area that has mostly Hispanic residents.
This unconstitutional action has led to families and communities living in fear, being torn apart and facing the unimaginable.
Faced with this new reality, it’s important to be prepared and KNOW YOUR RIGHTS when it comes to ICE. We have prepared a list of local and national resources to help you know what to do if you are confronted by immigration officials or local police asking about your immigration status.

- if ICE agents or police officers enter without a proper warrant, ask for their names and/or write down their badge numbers
