Juvenile Detention Center Discussion

A public discussion regarding a juvenile detention facility will be held at the William O. Beach Civic Hall on Saturday, March 29th from 9am to 11am. The discussion will be recorded and moderated, and will feature a conversation between Commissioner David Shelton and Monica Meeks, a community activist with a criminal justice background who holds an opposing view on the topic. Our hopes are that the discussion will help attendees form an informed opinion on the matter.
