May Day 2025: Standing in Solidarity on International Workers’ Day

May 1 @ 2:30 pm 4:30 pm

May 1, or May Day, is internationally recognized as a commemoration of workers’ rights and the labor movement. On May Day 2025, we are calling on our government to ensure that every family has housing, healthcare, fair wages, union protection, safety, and due process under the law — regardless of race, zip code, or immigration status.

Mayday is also a universal distress signal. On May 1, we shout together “Mayday, mayday” because our schools, our courts, our public services, our voting rights, and our civil rights are under attack. They want to destroy the middle class and silence dissent, but we will not stand down. Using the principles of nonviolence and peaceful protest, we will stand together and stand strong. This is the beginning of a new era: one where working families lead, immigrants are protected, and no one is left behind. We are reclaiming our power from corporate elites.

E PLURIBUS UNUM.

We are the many. They are the few. Join us this May Day and make your voice heard! The demonstration will be at the intersection for max visibility. The shoulders on International Blvd. are wide enough for parking. Bring your pro-labor, pro-union signs and sunscreen.
